Bad Bunny’s appearance could generate fireworks amid an extremely tense climate on network television. The Puerto Rican singer has not been shy to hit the president, whose administration pressure led to the suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
In July, Bad Bunny released a music video that addressed Trump’s anti -immigrants repression, but with satire. A voice that mimics the president actually apologizes and admits his “error.”
“I want to say that this country is nothing without immigrants,” says the voice. “This country is nothing without Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans …”
During the 2024 presidential campaign, the Reggaeton star also platform the condemnation of Democratic Nominated Kamala Harris for Trump Rally Tony Fanchliffe’s comic by calling Puerto Rico “a floating island of garbage.” Instagram publication for the millions of BB followers was seen as a support of the vice president.

The “SNL” place could be one of Bad Bunny’s few appearances as an artist in the United States in the immediate future. He said he did not include the country on his next tour because he was afraid of the Immigration and Customs Compliance agents, whom he called “Motherf ** Kers”, would catch some of his fans in the concerts.
The “SNL” Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner veterans have headed notable distribution outings before the start of the new season.
