Trump’s chaos occurs when he approaches 100 days of the presidency: the latest updates

President Donald Trump approaches his day 100 in office, a tumultuous period marked by market swings, social media outbreaks and a series of constitutional crises.

Trump and his administration are currently publicly challenging judicial orders to take a man sent by mistake to a mega prison in El Salvador’s house.

Meanwhile, markets continue to react to Trump’s current trade war with China and the work of their administration to ensure dozens of commercial agreements with other countries during the coming months.

Citing interviews with three dozen managers and employees, Washington Post reported on Monday that fewer and fewer federal workers meet the directive of the head of the millionaire Doge Elon Musk to present a list of five achievements every week.

Musk justified the requirement since the so -called government efficiency department was beginning his reign of terror in February by saying that he helped him determine who was doing his job. But the Washington Post reported that the Office of Personnel Management almost immediately undermined it by telling the managers that the emails were volunteers.

Among the agencies and departments that still require emails of “five things”, few verify compliance, the publication said.

According to the reports, all this comes when Musk is looking at an exit from the White House. Read more at the Washington Post.

Trump lamented the United States Supreme Court on Monday by preventing people from sending people to a maximum security prison in El Salvador for the rest of their lives without any due process.

“My team is fantastic, doing incredible job, however, they are being hindered in each step even by the Supreme Court of the United States, so I have so much respect, but that apparently does not want to send criminals and violent terrorists to Venezuela, or any other country, in the case,” Trump wrote.

Trump’s “fantastic” team has recognized that he sent by mistake at least one person to the brutal prison that does not belong there. Now he claims not to have means to bring Maryland’s man, Kilmar Abrego García, to the United States.

The president also said that he should be allowed to violate the constitutional rights of the people: “We cannot give everyone a trial, because doing so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years. “There is a really core in this: Republicans have long refused to provide adequate resources for immigration courts, which leads to a long accumulation of cases.

Representative Don Bacon (R-Neb.) Suggested on Monday that Pete Hegesh is not suitable for the work of the Secretary of Defense, citing the innumerable false steps of the latter since he took the work.

“He had concerns from the first moment because Pete Hegseth did not have much experience,” said Bacon, who serves in the Armed Services Committee of the House of Representatives, Politicus. “I like News. But you have the experience of leading one of the world’s biggest organizations? That is a concern.”

Bacon said it seemed “totally unacceptable” that Hegseth has shared sensitive military details in a group chat with his wife, brother, personal lawyer and “approximately a dozen” of others.

“I am not in the White House, and I am not going to tell the White House how to handle this … but it seems unacceptable, and I would not tolerate it if I were in charge,” he added.

He was asked to respond on Monday to the revelations that his Secretary of Defense shared details of a military attack in Yemen in a group conversation with his wife, brother and personal lawyer, Donald Trump chose to ignore him completely.

“We have the highest recruitment numbers that I think we have had in 28 years. No, he is doing a great job. They are only false news, “Trump told journalists while mixing with the Easter egg roll of the White House.

“They simply mention stories. I guess it sounds like employees of scontes. He was put there to get rid of many bad people and that is what he is doing, so you don’t always have friends when you do that. “

Trump also did not respond to the accusations level by John Ullyot, who resigned last week as a spokesman for the chief pentagon, that Pete Hegseth’s leadership in the agency has been marked by “dysfunction” and “total chaos.”

When asked why he still has confidence in Hegseth, said Trump: “Because he is doing a great job. Ask the hutis how it is. “

Trump again attacked the president of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, while the actions collapsed once again amid the uncertainty about the president’s economic vision.

In a real social position, Trump called Powell a “great loser” and demanded “preventive” cuts in interest rates to avoid a deceleration of the United States economy.

“There may be a deceleration of the economy unless Mr. Too Late, a large loser, reduces interest rates now,” Trump wrote.

Trump stopped to say that he will fire Powell before his mandate ends in May 2026, but the markets seem to have been shaken by his repeated attacks against the man he designated for the role in his first term.

The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, tried to prop up the support to the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in the midst of new reports on the leadership of the Pentagon of Hegseth, including the exchange of details of a military attack in Yemen in a group chat with his wife, brother and personal lawyer, among the others.

In a separate development, John Ullyot, who resigned last week as a spokesman for the Chief Pentagon, warned during the weekend that the agency is wrapped in “total chaos” under Hegseth and predicted its expulsion.

“A month of total chaos has passed in the Pentagon,” Ulle “From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass shots, dysfunction is now a great distraction for e The president, who deserves better of his superior leadership. “

Leavitt did not directly approach any of the accusations, but said to News that Hegesh “is doing a phenomenal job leading the pentagon and this is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you and working against the monumental change that is trying to implement.”

“Unfortunately, there have been people in that building who does not like the change that the secretary is trying to bring to be dripping and are lying to the main media,” he added.

The leader of the Senate minority, Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) said that there is no way that the Democrats allow Save to pass in the Senate, increasing their ability to filibust the draft law of suppression of voters of the Republican Party despite being in the minority.

“We will not let it pass. Period. About my body,” Schumer said in an interview about the Fast Politics podcast with Molly Jong-Fast. “It’s despicable.”

Save’s law is a priority bill for Republicans and President Donald Trump, and already approved the Chamber at the beginning of this month. It would be required that Americans show proof documents of Citizens to vote. But it is already illegal to vote if you are not an American citizen; This bill would force people to demonstrate that they are US citizens in providing documentation, such as a passport or a certified license, to which dozens of millions of Americans do not have access ready.

Guess who is less likely to have the documentation required to vote under this bill? Low -income people, color and indigenous voters. Republican women are also more likely to report that they take their husbands’ surnames, which complicates the process for them.

Schumer said the Democrats will remain firm when denying Republicans the 60 votes they need to break a filibuster to advance with Save’s law. The camera currently breaks down to 53 Republicans against 47 Democrats, including the two independents who captivate them.

He said it previously, but his last interview is particularly burning and perhaps an effort to demonstrate that he is channeling the anger that the progressives who feel that the Democrats need to do more to fight against Trump’s plans, something that the progressives did not make hot for not doing for the progressives last month.

“I am the minority leader. They need sixty votes for it. They will not get the sixty votes,” he said.

President Donald Trump brought his attacks on Maryland’s immigrant of Maryland, Kilmar Abrego García, at a new level on Easter, threatening to continue legal actions against those who do not follow his leadership.

“Those who lie to the American people on behalf of violent criminals must be responsible for agencies and courts,” Trump Sunday Ony on Truth wrote, the platform he owns.

The Trump administration has been listening to ideas on how to increase the birth rate in the United States, according to the New York Times. Ideas include a $ 5,000 bonus for new mothers, reserving 30% of the Fullbright scholarship program for married people with children and a government financed program to help women learn about their menstrual cycle.

It is not clear what ideas, if any, Trump’s team can approve.

The birth rate in the United States reached a historical minimum in 2023, according to CDC.

A group of Democrats from the House of Representatives traveled to El Salvador on Monday to press for the release of Kilmar Abrego García, a Maryland resident who was mistakenly deported by the Trump administration to El Salvador and imprisoned there.

“Donald Trump and his administration are directing a kidnapping program funded by the Government: illegally arrest, imprison and deport innocent people with zero due process. Kilmar Abrego García is Trump’s last victim,” said representative Maxwell Frost (D-Fla) in a statement. “As members of Congress, it is our responsibility to hold the President and the Administration for challenging the constitution of the United States. Donald Trump and ICE are not above the law. Today is Kilmar, but tomorrow could be any other person. We cannot and we will not let Donald Trump come out with his.”

Representatives Robert García (D-Calif.), Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) And Maxine Dexter (D-Ore.) Joined Frost on the trip. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD.) He also visited Abrego García last week.

Less federal employees are sending Elon Musk their emails of ‘5 things’: wapo

Citing interviews with three dozen managers and employees, Washington Post reported on Monday that fewer and fewer federal workers meet the directive of the head of the millionaire Doge Elon Musk to present a list of five achievements every week.

Musk justified the requirement since the so -called government efficiency department was beginning its reign of terror in February by saying that ay You were to determine who was doing your job.

Trump explodes the Supreme Court to prevent people from due process

The president also said that he should be allowed to violate the constitutional rights of people: “We cannot give everyone a trial, because doing so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years.” There is a really core in this: Republicans have long refused to provide adequate resources for immigration courts, which leads to a long accumulation of cases.

Trump and the first lady plan to attend Pope’s funeral

Trump wrote in Truth Social that he and the first lady Melania Trump plan to travel to Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis.

“We hope to be there!” Trump wrote Monday afternoon.

The funeral date has not yet been announced, but the service is usually carried out between the fourth and sixth day after the death of the Pope, according to the New York Times.

The first representative of the Republican Party suggests that Trump should fire Pete Hegseth

Trump ignores the condemnatory revelations of Pete Hegseth: “Only false news”

He was asked to respond on Monday to the revelations that his Secretary of Defense shared details of a military attack in Yemen in a group conversation with his wife, brother and personal lawyer, Donald Trump chose to ignore him completely.

“We have the highest recruitment numbers that I think we have had in 28 years. No, they are doing a great job. They are just false news,” Trump told reporters while mixing with the attendees in the roll of Easter eggs of the White House.

“They simply mention stories. I guess it sounds like unhappy employees. He was put there to get rid of many bad people and that is what he is doing, so you don’t always have friends when you do that.”

Trump also did not respond to the accusations level by John Ullyot, who resigned last week as a spokesman for the chief pentagon, that Pete Hegseth’s leadership in the agency has been marked by “dysfunction” and “total chaos.”

When asked why he still has confidence in Hegseth, Trump said: “Because he is doing a great job. Ask the hutis how he is.”

Trump renews attacks against the chief of the Fed, call Powell ‘Mr. Too late.’ The markets fall

At 10:30 am east time, the Dow Jones industrial average had fallen 726 points, or 1.9%.

Whom press secretary returns to the reports of New Hegseth condemned

The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, tried to prop up the support to the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in the midst of new reports on the leadership of the Pentagon of Hegseth, including the exchange of details of a military attack in Yemen in a group chat with his wife, brother and personal lawyer, among the others.

In a separate development, John Ullyot, who resigned last week as a spokesman for the Chief Pentagon, warned during the weekend that the agency is wrapped in “total chaos” under Hegseth and predicted its expulsion.

“A month of total chaos has passed in the Pentagon,” Ulle “From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass shots, dysfunction is now a great distraction for the president, which deserves better of his superior leadership.”

‘About my body’: Chuck Schumer says that the Democrats will filibuse to kill the Salvation Law
