President Donald Trump’s administration made some controversial changes Thursday to the White House website, adding former President Bill Clinton’s affair and Hunter Biden’s past substance abuse struggles to a new section called “Timeline of Significant Events.”

Most of the entries are standard topics commemorating moments like the rebuilding of the White House after the War of 1812 or the construction of the Oval Office in 1909. Others seem to target exclusively Democrats or political figures with whom Trump has openly feuded.

An entry in the 1998 timeline titled simply “Bill Clinton Scandal” reads: “President Bill Clinton’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky was exposed, leading to perjury investigations in the White House. Oval Office trysts prompted impeachment for obstruction.”

The timeline entry about former President Joe Biden’s son allows for “speculation” and includes a photo of Hunter Biden naked in a bathtub that appears to have been taken during his past struggle with drug addiction.

The 2023 article says: “During [former President Joe] During the Biden administration, a U.S. Secret Service agent discovered a small zippered plastic bag containing cocaine in the West Wing entrance hall. Speculation has pointed to Hunter Biden, an admitted drug user.”

Hunter Biden has spoken openly and repeatedly about his past of substance abuse after the recovery of a revealing laptop from a repair shop in 2020. The father of four, who has been sober since 2019, has further denied that the cocaine found in the White House was his.

“Additional evidence includes a laptop, seized in 2019, containing photographs of frequent drug use along with emails about foreign business dealings (Ukraine, China) involving his father, Joe, while he was vice president,” the entry on the White House timeline continues.

Hunter Biden has denied selling political access during his father’s term. It was a major target of Trump’s ahead of the 2020 presidential election, as the MAGA leader campaigned against Joe Biden.

The new section features moments about Clinton, Obama, Biden and his son.

The Trump administration also added an entry specifically about Joe Biden to the new timeline, writing about his 2023 White House event to commemorate International Transgender Day of Visibility: “Biden/Harris administration welcomes transsexuals to the White House.”

Another entry chronicles former President Barack Obama’s meeting with “members of the Muslim Brotherhood” in 2012. The Trump administration said the group “promotes Islamist extremism and has ties to Hamas” in an effort to portray Obama as a terrorist sympathizer.

The Trump White House did not mention that the meeting was about “routine diplomatic overtures” and that Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-Ariz.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) also met with the group, as former Obama White House spokesman Tommy Vietor told Politico.

The four highlighted entries refer only to Democrats with whom Trump has documented grievances. The White House shared a link to the new timeline on X, formerly Twitter, with a “nail polish” emoji.

It has sparked furious reactions from critics who lament the loss of presidential decorum.

Holy shit. I thought it was a joke. That’s actually on the official timeline on the White House website. 200 years of legitimate history in the first ten slides, the last twenty years in nine completely partisan slides and four of them are complete trolls.

Absolutely embarrassing.

Isn’t it great when the worst of the worst online terminal people gain control of government accounts?
