Tucker Carlson Is Pushing a Bizarre Conspiracy Theory About Jewish People and COVID

Tucker Carlson is coming under fire on social media after he hosted a conversation about a conspiracy theory that COVID-19 was manufactured to make Jews immune to it.

The strange chat began during Tuesday’s episode of “The Tucker Carlson Show,”after the disgraced former News host cited Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s erroneous claims that COVID could “adapt” and had “disparate effects on [different] populations.”

The podcaster appeared to be referring to a 2023 New York Post report titled “RFK Jr. Says COVID Was ‘Ethnic Targeted’ to Save Jews.”

Kennedy denied making the comments in an X publication.

“The @nypost story is wrong. I have never, ever suggested that the COVID-19 virus was intended to save Jews,” Kennedy wrote.

Carlson’s guest during the episode, author Dr. Andrew Huff, then controversially alleged that a scientific publication, which he did not name, found that a population of people of Jewish descent was affected by COVID more than others.

Calling RFK Jr.’s baseless claims “scientifically true,” Huff told Carlson: “There was a finding in a scientific publication that two different populations of people of Jewish ancestry, depending [on] “What line are they from: one was more affected than the others.”

Interjecting, Carlson then clarified that Huff was referring to “Sephardic/Ashkenazi” Jewish people.

Social media users on X criticized Carlson for not condemning Huff’s claim and for promoting an “anti-Semitic lie.”

“Nothing to see here but Tucker Carlson promoting the anti-Semitic lie that Covid was designed to save Ashkenazi Jews (who were actually affected MORE than other groups in the real world),” one person on X wrote.

The user went on to call Carlson and RFK Jr. “two conspiracy nuts.”

Someone else criticized Carlson as a “raging anti-Semite” and questioned why Vice President JD Vance, an ally of his, has not yet “denounced his bigoted views.”
