Unexpected drone operated by unidentified part of the USMNT TRAINING LONTOS: REPORTS

The American male team is competing for the coveted trophy of winners of the Concacaf Gold Cup. But, while the USMNT prepared for Wednesday’s semifinal match against Guatemala, a flying object caused an interruption in the team’s training fields.
It was believed that an unidentified part was operating what seemed to be a drone in the vicinity of the team’s training installation in St. Louis, News Sports reported.
The US Football Federation. Diplio Tres Drones before Tuesday’s practice session, according to News. The American coach Mauricio Pochettino finally came to light of the fourth unexpected drone.

“If someone wants some clips that we can send. It’s not a problem,” said Pochettino. “We are not going to hide anything. It is not NASA here. It is the national team of national men. There is no problem.”
The drone in question finally landed outside the fenced perimeter of the training installation.

ESPN reported that US soccer employees are working to identify the drone.

In addition to air interruption, the USMNT had to deal with a soil level. A group of individuals had to be asked to cease what seemed to be an unauthorized filming of the session, News Sports reported. It is not clear if the incident had any correlation with the flying object.

American men have not advanced to the final of the Gold Cup since 2021. The Americans brought the championship home that year. The National Team of Guatemala has never appeared in the final.

In relation to the crucial semifinal, Pochettino said it was not clear if midfielder Johnny Cardoso will be available for Wednesday’s game. Cardoso lost the victory of Sunday’s quarterfinals over Costa Rica.
“Today I was training a little, but you feel … a problem again on your ankle,” said Pochettino. “It is not a big problem, but it is an awkward situation.”
