WHOOPI GOLDBERG Compare Pope Francis with another Pope when he touched tribute
Whoopi Goldberg registered a moving tribute to Pope Francis, the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church, after he died Monday at age 88.

The star of the “Sister Law” said that Francisco was “more like Pope John on 23, who made belief reality” and that it was Pope since 1958-1963.

Francis was known for his relatively progressive positions on issues such as LGBTQ+rights, the environment and social justice, and made some members of marginalized groups feel more welcome in the Church.
Goldberg first He met Francis in the Vatican in 2023. He later told the presenter of “Tonight Show” Jimmy Fallon that seemed to be “a fanatic” of his 1992 film “Sister Act.”
Fallon then joked to Goldberg if the religious leader had asked him for a role in the “Sister Law 3.”
“No, but I offered one,” he said while the crowd laugh. “He said he would see how his time was.”
