Zelenskyy says Ukraine will not cede territory to Russia and is willing to present a peace plan to the US.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared that Ukraine will not cede any territory to Russia and said that components of a plan to end the war between the countries are ready to be presented to the United States.

“Russia insists that we give up territory, but we don’t want to give up anything,” Zelenskyy said in an online news conference on Monday, the News news agency reported.

“We have no legal right to do so, under Ukrainian law, our constitution and international law. And we have no moral right either,” Zelenskyy said after leaving London, where met with leaders from the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

Together with the American side, we hope to make possible steps as feasible as possible as soon as possible.”

While he did not share details, the plan could be sent to Washington as early as Tuesday, according to the News news agency.

Zelenskyy met German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron in London on Monday, as talks on the Peace initiative proposed by the United States they have stagnated.
